ABOUT
Kat Anderson and Natalia Anderson are two sisters from North London, who have found themselves living la belle vie in Haute-Savoie, France. They decided to start the Expat Immigrant Podcast at the end of 2020 when Kat came to live with Nat in France, following the death of their beloved father, John Anderson.
“I knew Kat and I had chemistry but ever since I interviewed Kat on my own podcast, Tuneful Radio, I knew that we just had to start something together” – Natalia Anderson
The Expat Immigrant Podcast is a place where the sisters share their conversations, putting you at ease, making you feel like you are in the same room as them, sharing, laughing and encouraging each other. Topics range from their experiences living in France – such as shopping and somehow fighting over a washing machine (Episode 9), dating and chatting up guys (Episode 17) to giving a fresh pair of eyes to the dilemmas found on the internet. Kat and Nat also love watching TV series and films and recapping them for your entertainment. Check out the plethora of TV and Film Reviews here! Also you can get in touch if you have any suggestions for TV shows they should watch!
The podcast is incredibly relatable whether you are an Expat Immigrant or not and whether you’ve lived abroad or not. These sisters from Tottenham have tons of experiences and fun stories to share, having grown up in the 90’s (ehem), they will have you splitting your sides with laughter at the nostalgia and joining in their conversations as they make you feel right at home!
“The name Expat Immigrant comes from the fact that we are Black and British living in France. Brits abroad always consider themselves “Expats” however given that we are first viewed as Black, we are considered “Immigrants” – To us, they both mean the same thing, however they have very different connotations in the real world, and we just wanted address that head on.” – Natalia Anderson
